Valentine’s Day Love Poems

You've Touched My Heart
You've given me a reason
For smiling once again,
You've filled my life with peaceful dreams
And you've become my closest friend.

You've shared your heartfelt secrets
And your trust you've given me,
You showed me how to feel again
To laugh, and love, and see.

If life should end tomorrow
And from this world I should part,
I shall be forever young
For you have touched my heart

How Do I Love Thee?
How Do I Love Thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being an ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everydays
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.

I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,--I love thee with the Breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!--and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
- Elizabeth Barret Browning

You are my Heart!
You are my heart, my hope, my help,
The passion that is me,
The whole of which I am a part,
My peace, my ecstasy.

You are my future, present, past,
My ship, my sail, my ocean,
The wind that brings me home again,
The home for every motion.

You live within me, yet I am
Without you all alone.
With you I am full of light;
Without you I am stone.

Is this foolish? Yes, perhaps,
But also it is true.
I think of life as something I
Can spend with only you.

Ah, my love! Love longs for such
Sweet celebrants as this!
Love is a burden and a joy,
Slavery and bliss.

This day of love come love with me,
Come sing with me my song.
Come be my Valentine, and I
Will love you my life long, my love,
Will love you my life long.

Can We Be The Best of Lovers?
"Can we be the best of lovers, not just friends? Just like in a romantic movie where strangers
Fall in love before the picture ends.

And like the two lovers upon the silver screen, i hope out friendship turns into reality, not just a dream. And before the film
Fades to black and the final curtain falls, my heart and soul want so

Much to believe, that we too can become the best of lovers before we leave.
But, I am well aware even a wise man, can delude himself and self deceive.
So, here's hoping my wish is granted before the reel comes to its end and that we too can become the best of lovers, not just friends?
